Graduate Student Life brings you First to Finished: First-Gen Paths through Graduate School, an event focusing on supporting first-gen graduate students. Join us for a panel discussion featuring the experiences and insights of first-generation faculty and administrators at Mason regarding their graduate school experiences. Our panel will consist of Dr. Laurence Bray, Associate Provost for Graduate Education and Associate Professor of Bioengineering; Dr. Julie Choe Kim, Director of Graduate Student Life; Dr. Kimberly Holmes, Associate Dean for College of Health and Human Services; Dr. Graziella McCarron, Assistant Professor of Leadership Studies in the School of Integrative Studies; and moderated by Austin A. Deray, Interim Assistant Director of Graduate Student Life. Hear their stories of success and resilience as they made their way through higher education into their careers. All of Mason’s first-gen graduate students are invited to this event, as well as undergraduate students and other Mason community members interested in building an inclusive campus. We hope you will join us! Sign up here.
