The Graduate Student Life team would like to welcome all new and returning graduate and professional students to the 2021-2022 year! We know that many of you are spending time on campus regularly for class or for work, and that many are still taking classes online. No matter how you engage,  we are now better equipped than ever to support you. Graduate Student Life is planning a variety of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events this year, and we hope to see you there. The Mason Grad Insider blog is sponsored by Graduate Student Life and will feature great content, with contributions from colleagues in departments across campus. This blog was created to give graduate students a voice and be a guide and resource during their graduate career at Mason. Mason grad students can expect to find a wide range of posts focusing on academic, career and professional development, and well-being topics, along with insight on fun and leisure in the DMV area. Some of our most popular blog posts in the past have been on graduate school reading strategies, the importance of napping, interpersonal skills, and more.

We are excited to introduce the editor and primary writer of the Mason Grad Insider for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Meet Nikita Thadani:Woman standing in Graduate Student Life t-shirt outdoors in front of a tree.

The Graduate Student Life team has been hard at work planning events for this year. We hope many of you joined us for Gradstravaganza, our annual graduate student welcome event, right before classes began.
